Asunder arose from the ruins of sludge/crusters Dystopia and Skaven. If you could imagine a blend of the melodious Swedish death metal and doom metal genres, this is what you've got. Slow, loud, and melodic. The first track Twilight Amaranthine begins with the main phrase performed through the texture of a cello; it eventually builds up into an epic 13 minute-long track. Definitely one of the best bands of their genre. Creative, yet humble intervals. \m/
